Geoffroy's Marmoset Exhibit

It's a shame, I do really like the artwork that went into those backgrounds, but in a living animal exhibit just makes it feel more fake.
 
@CheeseChameleon2007 I agree. Even natural looking backdrops look a little bit tacky, because it's just so easy to tell that they're fake. A good solution would be to paint them on a concaved wall, so you don't see the corners as much.
 
@red river hog Or to try to mold in some woodworking's shaped like trees and logs, something that I had in mind for my dream zoo indoor exhibits. And it is such a shame, because even if it looks tacky or not, the backdrop is a superb piece of art, and I would love to have this kind of jungle background in my bedroom, not in an exhibit for a zoo.
 
This exhibit now houses bats. The marmosets have been moved to a different exhibit - which may be worse and smaller - at the beginning of the aviary. They may have renovated it, but I highly doubt it. The aviary isn't open so I haven't been able to see it yet.
