@snowleopard The only real change is the increasing age of the chimps and the additional poo-defense barriers they installed. Slightly better climbing frames but that's about it really for the animals.
Did you by the way have the luck (or unlucky rather) to see their special throwing skills when you were there? Apparently they got really good at it throughout the years
@Jarne Haha! Nope, I did not notice any poo being tossed through the air, but I did see the indoor accommodation and it is probably the darkest chimp space I've ever seen.
@snowleopard Yeah, the indoor accomodation is really depressing. Apparently there are ideas to build a new chimpansee enclosure at the location of the old tiger enclosures. But as it took them 2+ years to build a tiger enclosure that's mediocre at best I don't see that happening anytime soon.
