After seeing that my friend Tomek saw and photographed some Black-headed lapwings in October at Walsrode I got very jealous as I had been there just a month earlier without seeing any.
Turns out that I actually photographed the species in September without even realizing it (I blame the face mask I had on that fogged up my glasses so I had trouble to see!). I just looked through my photos and this one appeared! A new species for me!
