@birdsandbats Same with me. There were even more on the other side of the Stream. I was at Vadnas Lake Park, Not the same place I was at last time with all the swans. It is just a small stream, but gets more Freshwater Life than any other place I'v been too in Minnesota. I'm planning to go here every day now, since not only the bird life Is terrific, Plenty of Bio diverse fish and Freshwater Inverts are present here as well.
I should note that Seeing this many Swans aren't as awesome as you think, they Are Overfed by the Visitors (told around 5 people to stop) and my fear as that some of the Younger brown ones aren't going to Know How to fend for themselves when they grow up. When It may appear cute when they come up to visitors, they start to compete for food and follow the visitors around the edge of the water wanting food, even though there is plenty of food to eat around, lots of Insect larva and Crayfish.
@CheeseChameleon2007 No worries, the young swans will for sure know how to feel themselves once adults if they don't already know. Although it is nice educating people about not feeding inapropriate food to the animals, if you don't already, give them the reasonning behind why they souldn't feed them.
