How is their breeding going at the Tierpark? When I was there in 2004 they had two wonderful cubs and I stood for long time watching them play. Some might say that the enclosure is small, especially for a zoo that has no problems with space, but it seems to work.
And they have not always been in the Tierpark or what? I don't remember seeing them in 1995, but then I was 14 so maybe not strange. The Alfred Brehm House probably held all of the larger species except Clouded Leopard, Snow Leopard and Cheetah (the latter two species had new enclosures when I was there last time in 2004)
They breed very frequently, though i think this is the last cub, because the parents are not that young.
And if you have a pair of big cats that like each other, you could breed them in a shed in your garden...

All cats have lived once in the Alfred Brehm house Inclouding the snowleopards.
