What species are here? Looks like a mix of Greater and American.

Netherlands wildlife?!

Since when are there wild flamingos in the Netherlands?! Especially in this time of year

@Mr Gharial Ever year. There is a group of Chilean/American/Greater Flamingo that breeds just accross the German border and overwinters in the Dutch delta. Apart from that group there are real wild Greater Flamingo present throughout the year (check waarneming.nl)

@lintworm Do these animals count as wild?

@amur leopard I don't count them, but you could say they are an established breeding population.

To be sure it is easiest to find the flamingos that have been ringed in France/Spain that also visit the country.
