Chacoan peccary and White-nosed coati exhibit, 2020-10-19

Did you mean white-nosed coati instead of white-nosed peccary? Or do they mix white-lips and chacoans?

@SivatheriumGuy It must be white-nosed coati instead of peccary indeed. Planckendael did keep white-lipped peccary in the past though, but they replaced them by the chacoans some years ago.

I'm really sorry about the mistake, I don't know how I managed to let that one slip through. I will have to more careful with future gallery postings.

@KevinB Don't worry about it Kevin! I love seeing these photos from Planckendael as it was one of my favourite zoos on my European zoo trip in the summer of 2019. Keep the photos coming!

Thank you for your appreciation of Planckendael and of my postings. I'm glad you enjoy my photos.

The visit on October 19th turned out to be my final visit to Planckendael as well as my final zoo visit of 2020 alltogehter, as Belgian zoos closed on November 2nd and didn't reopen until February 13th, 2021.

But I have already been back to Planckendael since and I will soon be posting pictures of a winter visit to a cold and snowy Planckendael.
