Chlidonias

Pin-striped Wrasse (Halichoeres sp.)

March 2021. I was just taking photos of all the fish in the tropical marine tanks for ID purposes (the tanks lacked signage), and these ones seemed good enough to upload.
I'm not entirely sure which species this Halichoeres wrasse is - it looks most similar to H. melanurus but the scribbled pattern on the cheeks is unusual and I can't fully match it with anything.

Note that the blue lighting on the tank means that the fish is not the colour it appears to be in the photo!
 
@Chlidonias I agree it's a bit odd, though I think it may be H. melanurus. They do exhibit scribbling on the cheeks sometimes. I'm not coming up with anything closer currently.
