An open-topped aquarium within the walk-through Wetlands Aviary, with a boat going right through the glass which I think looks neat. There is an eel on the left, with its head just above the edge of the boat.
 
These are Long-finned Eels Anguilla dieffenbachii, which are endemic to New Zealand.
 
For a second I thought this was for electric eels and was wondering what genius thought an open-topped electric eel tank was a good idea.
