This was originally the Eurasian Waterhole. They put the tram path on the dam and bisected it into the new Central Africa and African Forest exhibits.

I don't have a complete list, I can only tell you what I saw.
Central Africa:
- northern white rhinoceros
- slender-horned gazelle
- Sudan red-fronted gazelle
- southern greater kudu
- Uganda kob
- Angolan roan antelope
- scimitar-horned oryx
African Forest
- Sudan red-fronted gazelle
- East African bongo
- Zambezi lechwe
- pink-backed pelican

Thanks for the prompt response. It makes me realise how few ungulate species I've seen. I think I've already seen more new antelope species in the 4 zoos I've visited in the UK than I had seen up until coming here. :)

Do you think that this exhibit will eventually fill in with enough trees to actually resemble a forest, or is this as good as it gets?

Many of those trees are young yet. There is a new grove of African fever trees, and when it grows in it will be nice and forest-like. Unfortunately because of the elevation of the tram pathway, this will mean it will be a difficult exhibit to see anything in.
