This is indeed one of the nicest zoos in the world, also thanks to former director Petr Fejk. However, one should mention the, especially in comparison to other Czech zoos, huge amount of money the zoo can rely on, and that the occasional acquisitiveness sometimes led to disadvantages for individual animals and programs (f.e. shoebills).
