Welcome to the Nashville Zoo... This time on Virtual Zoo Tours we are not only leaving my hometown state for the first but second time. Welcome to the Nashville Zoo. Opened in 1990 the Zoo is fairly young only being roughly 30 years old. The Zoo occupies give or take 200 acers and is home to about 3,000 animals. Though out our time covering the park we will encounter the zoo's very diverse collection.
