PossumRoach 2 Apr 2021 @German Zoo World to my knowledge the remaining population is in China. As much as I know China monopolizes endangered species which probably is the reason why there are very few animals outside China.

Ding Lingwei 9 Apr 2021 @PossumRoach They're also kept in large numbers in both Japan and Korea. The Japanese captive population reached 158 in 2010 and the number should be much higher today. The Crested Ibis Restoration Center in Changnyeong, Korea also kept 363 birds as of 2019 according to this link: Crested ibises return to wild in S. Korea 40 years after going extinct | Yonhap News Agency
