The last red-shanked douc at Cologne died in late 2019. Back in 2008 they still had a breeding group. Currently this species is only still kept at Zoo Chleby (Czech Republic) and Zooparc de Beauval (France).
@MonkeyBat Given there are only two zoos in Europe now with this species, both of which are pretty much out of my reach even in non-pandemic times, I personally also hope they will become more common in European zoos again.
