Mistletoebird (Dicaeum hirundinaceum)

The Mistletoebird was in my top 10 birds to see in the wild (well in my local area).

I finally saw a male-female pair feasting on mistletoe berries right near a public park along a very busy road. I was really surprised to see how small (9-10 centimetres long) and brightly coloured they actually are in the flesh.
