@Antoine The house in the middle is the housing where the sea lions are already in residence (and could be heard as you pass the house - you actually get much closer on the other side but there is little to see from that angle). The big lake in front is not part of the exhibit - it's the areas behind where the sea lions will be. Where the green screening and rockwork is visible to the right of the house is a completed smaller pool that seems to be in use by the sea lions most days based on other visitors' photos, but peering through the screening I could see it was drained yesterday and was being either cleaned or inspected. The building site to the left of the house is where the larger pool is being put in and that still seems to have some way to go (a bit more of this side can be seen in the other photo: View of Point Lobos Sea Lion Development at Yorkshire WP, 18th April 2021 - ZooChat ). The red steel structure in the back is outside the zoo boundary and is, I believe, the framework for the hotel that will form a part of the new entrance complex. Hope this makes sense - it's a bit tricky to describe!
@Maguari Thank you very much for your answer and explanation. I am courious to see the result of the sea loons exhibit as it could be interesting.
I saw your others pictures of this new area but if you have others to share about the tapirs, maned wolves and bush dogs enclosures feel free to post
