Pachytriton granulosus, also known as Pingchi's stout newt. The name commemorates Dr. Bing Zhi (Ping Chi), a Cornell-educated zoologist considered as the founder of modern zoology in China. He was the founder of the first biology department in China, the founder of the first biology research institute in China and the founder of China zoological society.
