Stop 4: Anzu

I was really excited for an accurate oviraptor and this was... honestly pretty disappointing. It suffers from the common mistake of making feathered dinosaurs look basically like scaly dinosaurs wearing a feather coat. The claws are bare (the flight feathers should attach at the second finger) and the head is honestly awful. This is unfortunately what happens when you treat “feathered dinosaurs” as if feathers are the exception and not the rule. Oviraptorids would have looked very similar to birds, not like an 80s dinosaur with the afterthought of feathers.

The tail fan’s nice at least, and the babies have cute little manes.
