Smith's dik-dik (Madoqua smithii)

Wait what exhibit was this in? Was it exhibited with a great bustard in the Africa section? If that's the case I believe I've seen this species.

@Hipporex I want to say in March of 2020, just before the pandemic started. Me, I was there in June of 2019. What were you doing in Waco at the time?

@Hipporex ah ok very nice. May I ask which part of Texas they live in? If not close to Cameron Park Zoo, what made you decide to go there. Were there specific species or exhibits that sparked your interest at the time?

@UngulateNerd92 Yeah they live near Waco and it's their "local zoo," hence we visited there. I wasn't aware of any special species or exhibits because this was before I became a life list hunter and knew about ZooChat. Side note, this is also the same trip where I visited the A-S Desert Museum in Arizona which I absolutely loved.

@Hipporex ah very nice. So it was like a family toad trip? The Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum is my favorite zoo I have ever visited and I have visited dozens of zoos. Luckily I live a few miles down the road from the desert museum in the middle of the Tucson Mountains.
