Long Island Aquarium - Critter Cove on left, arcade on right

This area is actually the former outdoor stingray touch tank. Most of the walls of the old tank were retained. It was a rather duplicitous exhibit as their is a year-round one indoors. The replacement sure ain’t great though.

@nczoofan I was wondering where that was! There's still a page for it on their website, even. It's an extremely confusing place to walk around.

@TinoPup Oh it is. The outside has just been thrown together over two decades, with no consistent theme or perceived order to the paths.

@nczoofan Beyond all of the nonsense Atlantis stuff, and the weird mining stuff It would work so much better as one long building, then put that mining building somewhere else. I kept doubling back and walking around in case I had missed something.

@TinoPup The theming made a lot more sense when they were named Atlantis Marine World. I didn’t mind it too much at that point but now it doesn’t fit. Although I doubt they have the money or willpower to ever change it up.

@nczoofan They spent a ton of money on the fountain out front.
