Tierpark nowadays only have Indian Rhinos (most out of character for them to only have one species when more would be available!). This calf is one of the smallest I've seen.

Tierpark Berlin has (much to their credit) actually started getting rid of some of their bigger species that they couldn't accommodate properly, especially in the Dichäuterhaus (Pachyderm House). The pygmy hippos left in 2005 and the Baird's tapir and white rhinos in 2008.

I know the Bairds tapir ended up at the zoo, did the same fate apply to the other 2 species? If so then surely it would've just been better from an animal welfare point of view to move them to a larger paddock in the Tierpark? I'm mainly talking about the rhino's here though.

Not sure where the White Rhinos went but not to the Zoo, who have Eastern Black Rhinos and Indians. The Zoo has both species of hippo (in a fantastic house) but not sure if either of the Pygmies came from the Tierpark.

No, not exactly. I think that tapir went to the zoo but the white rhinos and pygmy hippos left for somewhere else. White rhinos are no longer kept in neither the Zoo nor the Tierpark and the pygmy hippos already have a pretty good exhibit at the zoo.
Also, the white rhino was the only one of those species that had access to an outdoor paddock. The pygmy hippos and tapirs both lived in the same all-indoor exhibit in the Pachyderm House (though not at the same time). The Tierpark now has two paddocks for indian rhinos instead of one so more can be out at the same time.
