The expansion was a welcoming improvement but is still just following the minimum standards (which are constantly getting higher and higher). And now there is no more space to expand after this. The bull enclosure is tiny! Horribly tiny in my opinion. Lisbon Zoo owns a nice amount of land on its northern side, which is underdeveloped. It could be like the African savanna of Prague Zoo. There is a clear lack of vision for this park. All their ungulates are living in old-fashioned paddocks which undermines the true beauty of these animals. Many city zoos have already changed. When will be the time for Lisbon Zoo?
