As the new developments around the Singapore Zoo take shape, the name "Mandai" - the area of Singapore where the Zoo is located - will become increasingly prominent. The Wildlife Reserves Singapore Conservation Fund has already been reorganized into a new entity called Mandai Nature with an expanded mandate that not only includes wildlife conservation but also habitat preservation.
