Non renovated area - BioParque do Rio

This area is not accessible to the public, so I took this picture from a hole in the fence. These structures on the left are the former bird aviaries. The institution plans to renovate this area in the following years.

they already started the constructions in this area, andré told me they will expose more monkeys, expand the reptile village, build the official cassowary enclosure, and i bet they will build more things, i'm so happy because the baboons will be exposed again, i'm also missing the macaques, i remember they were my favorite animals at the zoo, hope they will be back again.

Yes, as I mentioned in one of the threads of the Bioparque, In my visit, I was told by a keeper that they plan to build baboon exhibits and expose the birds of prey. I'm happy they'll keep up with the works.
As you mention the macaques, I'm curious if the institution keeps another species of these primates, as the crab-eating ones are already on exhibit.
