Former elephant exhibit - BioParque do Rio

this will be the new enclosure of the buffaloes, but i hope they can turn this enclosure into a new that represents the habitat of the buffalo, i bet the blackbucks and sambar deer will live with them, i still don't know if the aoudads will be moved to a definitive enclosure and where they will keep the gaurs.

In my opinion, this exhibit should be either demolished or used as home for much smaller animals than buffaloes. Don't you think it's too small for such a big species?

I heard the sambar, blackbucks and rusa deer are going to live among the elephant(s). The gaur(s) might get a completely new enclosure in the future, I think, and if I had to guess, that former wild goat exhibit behind the present elephant paddocks will be renovated to hold the aoudads.

@David Matos Mendes that sounds awesome, and i obviously think it's too small to a big bovine who is extremely heavy.

Yes, they should break it down and make some kind of square, or maybe a set of small exhibits for small asian mammals/reptiles, to fit the theme of the area.
