Elephant Exhibit overhead view

Seeing all three elephants in their outdoor exhibit from the sky-tram ride is really a treat!
Elephants, Belle (front and center), Brittany (left), and Ruth (far back) in their exhibit as seen from the sky glider ride at the zoo.

It’s pretty great to see how much better this exhibit looks now compared to when it first opened. Also very pleased to see all three elephants finally on exhibit together. I saw them about a month ago and Belle and Ruth remained close by the barn together while Brittney was off by the pool. As soon as Belle was brought in Brittney came over to Ruth and stayed close to her, so it seems as though there is still some dysfunction. Good progress at least.

This is a great photo and it gives a different impression of the new exhibit. The huge white building is a major eyesore, but the yard looks significantly better from this viewpoint.

@pachyderm pro Agreed. I remember a major point of discussion when the exhibit first opened being that it looked like it wasn't ready to open. It's amazing what some simple logs and fully grown-in grass can do for a still pretty barren exhibit.
