African Plains- South African field: Herd of Gemsbok along with a Masai Giraffe. August 13, 2021. The park houses their Gemsbok in the South African field and their Fringe-Eared Oryx in the East African field.
 
I think you are getting them confused. East Africa is the first field habitat you see on the tram and it does indeed have fringe eared oryx as well as generic giraffe, SWR, and several other antelope species. While South Africa is the second field habitat and holds the gemsbok, Masai Giraffe, Patterson’s eland, sable antelope, etc.
