Sarus Crane

Mhorr Gazelle Abby

The last Mhorr Gazelle in the US. Taken on 8-2-21.
This subspecies Nanger dama mhorr is becoming increasingly rare in North American/AZA zoos. How many does Philadelphia Zoo have and how are they doing? Have they bred recently?

@UngulateNerd92 I'm not sure, since those are a lot harder to track, but I don't believe so.
She's often difficult to spot, she loves to rest in the long grasses at the top/back of the exhibit :)

I remember when other US zoos had them, including Phoenix, Louisville, San Diego, Cincinnati, Oklahoma City, St. Louis, The Living Desert etc.
