@MennoPebesma That's certainly possible, and there are other similar species too, unfortunately they do change somewhat as they grow which also complicates things. These look like fairly young specimens, and I suggested multipunctatus as I knew it is quite frequently bred. However it seems that petricola is frequently bred too, so I'm not going to venture any further opinions - I just don't know enough about catfish.
