Ola, the last Hawaiian monk seal

Ola is the last Hawaiian monk seal on display outside of Hawaii (although apparently a private zoo in California has one bts). Although she is on the older side for a monk seal, she is quite active, and can be seen trying to pull this simulated kelp out of the ground.
@TinoPup Interesting, do you happen to know what its called or have any threads or links to more information. I love researching obscure holdings like this!

@DelacoursLangur The facility is called Long Marine Lab which is located in Santa Cruz, California. They had another male monk seal named KE18 that lived at the facility since 2012. He has been transferred to Sea Life Park in Oahu. They did however receive another male monk seal from the Waikiki Aquarium named Ho‘ailona. He is going to be part of a hearing study while his exhibit is being repaired.

Sorry to add late but you actually can try to see him if you go to the facilities aquarium called the Seymour Marine Discovery Center and book a tour to see the marine mammal center. You will be able to see (but not take any pictures of) Atlantic Bottlenose Dolphins and the Hawaiian Monk Seal. I will say the seal is hard to see but you can definitely catch it.
