Does Cleveland Zoo currently have Andean, sloth, sun, black AND grizzly bears? Five species sounds impressive, but none of the exhibits are anything to get excited about.
@snowleopard I visited in July, they have the black bears, grizzlies, I saw a spectacled and the sloth bears were signed (fourth visit in a row I haven't seen them). Last year I was told by a local that there was still a sun bear, but they were very, very elderly and rarely went outside. I wouldn't be surprised if they passed on by now.
I've always loved these exhibits. Loved the water falls, the pool, and the angle of elevation. Ya, Ya I know it's not PC standards craved by public these days with in your face encounters. While new exhibits allow public close encounters, I have seen far to many wild encounters of human getting far to close to wild animals and not allowing essential space!
