I'm Sorry fo that, but most of the Tourists don't visit the Tierpark, because it is too far away from the City, so it would be to expensive to produce an english guidebook only for just a "few"english speaking visitors-the Tourists are going mostly to the Zoo, and the Zoos does have an english Version Guidebook.
But the Information in the Tierpark Guidebook is mostly in which year the enclosure/house was opened, in which year the zoo has got the species, and in which year he has bred it for the first time, thats it. And because there is for every species also the scientfic Name, you have a good overview about the animal inventory.
This Edition could be the last one in that style, but it is defentily the last one published and written by Bernhard Blaskiewitz and, maybe it is the last Guidebook for the Tierpark, maybe it will be replaced for a free map...
Am I correct in assuming what you all refer to as the zoo is the one in former West (democratic) Berlin and the Tierpark is the one in former East (communist) Berlin?

I know only this two-Bellevue and now Berlin,Frankfurt had a Gerenuk fawn one time on the backcover of the 1967 Guide, and also an adult male together with other "rare"species on its 100 Years Anniversary Guidebook in 1958, drawn by Wilhelm Eigener.
