Being rather fond of herons, I enjoyed viewing the various species within the heron aviary at Tierpark Berlin - particularly the two species of Pond-heron, both of which were very active and allowed for careful viewing of the differences in coloration differentiating the two.
The heron aviary is found opposite the Watusi Cattle paddocks at the collection.
