I've stated this elsewhere so I apologize if I'm getting repetitive, but I would have gone with "Pepper Family Cat Kingdom" as the new name. I think it fits the historic building perfectly and gives a much clearer idea of what the exhibit is about.
I should be at the zoo at the proper grand opening so hopefully I will get a clearer picture of things in person, but my biggest complaint from pictures is just how empty the interior is now. On the right side there appears to be a gift shop, an educational sign, and well... that's about it. Real missed opportunity to include some more features. The lion exhibit looks excellent though, great design choices there.

I know this doesn't add to the conversation, because no matter what, the name is staying. But whenever that zoo tours comes out, it will definitely be presented as the 'Kovler Lion House'
