One of the most unusual species found at Tierpark Berlin, the Southern Gerenuk arrived in summer 2013 after many decades of the species being absent from European collections - as such I was particularly pleased to note that all 2,2 animals which had arrived into Germany were visible and active.
A shame I did not had enough time in Berlin to visit the Zoo ánd Tierpark. Three full days Berlin (plus an evening and a morning): One day to see the city and two for the Zoo (one is not enough for me to see everything ).
Well, a good reason to go to Berlin again and visit Tierpark Berlin to see these great animals .
