I envy that you are able to travel many zoos in the western world within two years (and probably more which you didn't upload pictures of before 2019). I just hope by the time I get old, they still exist or their collections did not diminish yet.
@PossumRoach You shouldn't. Everything will happen with the time and you will see even more attractive species. I remember how I felt when I couldn't travel when Sumatran Rhino, Northern White Rhino, Saiga, Neotropical Cervids were around. One species will disappear, another will come.
@twilighter idk, with zoo associations sticikng to their RCPs, animal rights activists gaining power, and trade and transport of exotic species getting more restricted I don't see much new animals coming in anytime soon.
@PossumRoach Yes, some groups of animals, like Cataceans and Great Apes will decline in the future, but the good zoos will also evolove. I believe they will keep their conservation role, working manly with threatened species, like Pangolins and Tasmanian Devils.
