Too bad enclosures like this can be seen many times in Berlin.
So many rare species but under those circumstances nobody (or at least I) don't want to see such rare species (or no animals anyway)...
Is it really that hard to give animals better conditions in cities like Berlin?
I mean, the cats have no green, no space, there is no whisp of nature and the zoo doesn't even have to rebuild the house, they just have to improve single exhibits like this one (new, naturalisitic walls; a few tall indoor plants etc).
I really wanted to visit both zoos of Berlin but they really are not the high rated zoos they once have been.

Very brave of you to say this, and I totally agree with you, I actually do not go into this building when I visit Tierpark, and the outside enclosures are just as poor.
