New Aviary Signage with New Species

Taken October 16, 2021
New species on the board
  • African Pygmy Goose
  • Blue-faced Honeyeater
  • Collared Finch-billed Bulbul
  • Hadada Ibis
  • Inca Jay
  • Red-and-yellow Barbet
  • White-crested Laughingthrush
  • White-headed Buffalo Weaver
  • White-winged Ibis

@Breckenridge They were present during my Oct 2019 visit (even got pictures of them). I haven't had a chance to visit the zoo since, so I am not sure if they have been removed and then added back in the interim.

Also, while I was looking through photos from that visit, I noticed the following species are not present on the signage in your photo.
  • Masked Lapwing
  • Fairy-bluebird
  • Blue-winged Leafbird
  • Blue-crowned Laughing Thrush
  • Scarlet-faced Liocichia
  • Blue-naped Mousebird
  • Ringed Teal
  • Amethyst Starling
  • Scarlet Ibis
Do you know if any of these species are still present?

Funnily enough, the new species are in the same spots on the sign that the missing species once occupied, so I wonder if this is partly just an issue with space on the signage.
