Wall in Asian Domain

This is the plywood wall blocking access to the cave that enabled level viewing of the tiger and sun bear.
How long has it been since this viewing area was last opened? I noticed it on my last visit and it looked quite outdated. Was it like a big room or just some kind of narrow crowded pathway that dead ends?

@ZooNerd1234 I am honestly not sure, but a really long time - maybe 10 years? It was/is a narrow cave that leads to a sizeable dead end with viewing windows into both the tiger and bear habitat. The interesting thing is that the bears and tigers can see each other across the windows too.

@Terry Thomas I'm glad they did. On my visit I saw the windows between the bear and tiger exhibits and I had no clue what their design angle was - considering I didn't know you could walk between them. Until now I didn't see how the viewing was boarded up.
