Note the woman shaking a popcorn box at the fence. The zoo was really busy, and I was the only person/family without a box of popcorn to feed/throw at the animals.
Is the official name of this zoo 'Popcorn Park Animal Refuge'? There's nothing like saving animals at a "sanctuary" and then feeding them popcorn in tiny chain-link cages.
@snowleopard Yep. Several of the animals have signs about how they were rescued. The arabian red fox (NOT a ruppell's!) was sent halfway across the world to this place, where she's treated horribly This place is easily in the 3 worst zoos I've been to, and probably is the worst when you include public stuff like complete lack of signs, the ground is sand, etc. The only thing saving it is it isn't the worst I've seen for a few of the species (like the bears).
