Judging from the zoo's online map, there doesn't seem to be a single animal exhibit along this new path. Is that true? I suppose that there will be future additions to the area to make the walk more enjoyable for visitors.
@snowleopard Correct. If you look at the couple of photos before this, there's an area to the left that might be a future exhibit or something, it's a flat grass area. Right now it's a wide path at the highest point in the zoo with no shade at all, which is lots of fun in August. There's no exhibits if you take the bottom path, either (skipping or retracing jungle odyssey and the islands), but it's in the shade, at least.
