This looks to be an amazing Reptile House. Perhaps not quite as impressive as Fort Worth, with its 100 exhibits and 150 species, but arguably the #2 best Reptile House in North America. Would you agree @Moebelle?
@snowleopard Having only visited 37 institutions, most of which that don't even have a definitive reptile house, I feel I haven't come across enough to create a ranking-type list. For my Atlanta species list, I have 59 individual exhibits (excluding the Tortoise yards), and 69 species. Scaly, Slimy, and Spectacular only has either an average or above average terrarium. This is a nitpicking, but beyond the first and third sections, this is where the immersive design stops, something I wish they continued in the final hallway. Personally, I'm still looking for such an exhibit to best Saint Louis', the greatest Herpetarium I've come across, leaving Atlanta's SSS at #2.
@Moebelle Yes, I would agree that Saint Louis has an amazing Reptile House. With approximately 100 species on show in a wonderfully historic building, it is a great experience. Having said that, I really need to get back to Zoo Atlanta as I visited in 2008 and there's been loads of recent developments there.
