I was speculating pronghorns (which are also absent from European zoos), since I think it would be too steep for deer.
There's a large chance that they're moving the peccary here, after doing a bit of a redesign on the enclosure. Though I still wonder what will come in the peccary enclosure
This enclosure just looks like it would be for a goat or sheep. I don’t know how a large deer or a pronghorn would properly live here. They probably wouldn’t have too many problems but a goat or sheep species would thrive in here like the bighorn sheep did.
I think they're going to partially fill in the pit at the bottom with sand to make it less of a cliff. Because otherwise there isn't anything that could possibly go there
Also: I'm fairly certain pronghorns are pretty decent climbers. Either way, we won't be getting them
Well, the bighorn sheep were removed because there weren't enough animals in Europe and they had no more space to send the young. The gene pool was also growing smaller and smaller. So the chance of getting pronghorns is basically zero
Me too, I think pronghorns looks really awesome and the would look great in the desert. But sadly, the only pronghorn we'll ever have in Burgers' is the picture near the t-rex skull
Good news! Construction has started in the enclosure. The wall in front of the picture is being removed and it's being overseen by Stef (the same guy that designed the Mangrove). So something great is happening here!
