Anoa/Babirusa Co-habitation

The lone male anoa was recently joined by a pair of female babirusa.

Both species are endemic to the large island of Sulawesi, with wild individuals having been observed to be tolerant of one another.

The anoa’s horns have been covered in a pair of cones, to prevent injury against the suids.

Oops, I made a mistake on information relating to the endemism of the North Sulawesi babirusa.
They're also found on the adjacent islands of Lembeh, Buton and Muna.
