Not the best photo I've taken but my patience paid off on my 2nd visit to Exmoor. Pleased to get a glimpse of them and they look very pretty little cats
TLD tierpark had two pairs plus kittens when I visited! And exmoor already had their pair so it must have been three pairs imported! Berlins kittens were destined for another European collection but I won't name it here!
Excellent! As noted before, everything I heard indicated the initial import was 2,2, so the second Tierpark pair must be a further import. This, of course, bodes all the better for a sustainable population of the taxon being established within Europe.
Not offhand, actually - I know they moved to another collection, with the unfufilled intention of the species returning at some point, but I don't recall where they went or what might have happened to them in the long term.
