The Cincinnati Zoo is often regarded for its gardens, rare animals, their breeding programs of those rare animals, and their absolutely positively well-preserved history, but this time, nearly 8 years in the making, and 33 million dollars spent we’ll be taking a trip to… Africa, and based on the thumbnail and title, I assure you, that this is not your common African excursion. Along the way, I’ll show you the plains, rivers, and deserts of this very geographically diverse continent spread out amongst 5 separate phases, sitting on 8 acres that used to be a parking lot. Not only this, but we'll encounter giraffes, playfully painted dogs, the most diverse savannah we may ever come across, we'll marvel at elegant lions, and of course, we'll meet the WORLD FAMOUS Fiona the hippo.
