@Prochilodus246 It's a good little place, I certainly enjoy going there. Most of their collection is fish that can be caught in UK waters, stuff like plaice, mullets and sea bass, but they do have some more exotic species too. Earlier this month they opened a new tank with red-bellied piranhas, and in the same area they have tanks with Lake Malawi cichlids and fish from both Southeast Asia and the Amazon.
For marine species, there's lionfish, moray eels, pufferfish, lots of coral reef fish, and a horseshoe crab. Their star attraction is a tank full of thornback rays and small sharks, you used to be able to stroke the rays as they swam to the surface, but since Covid this isn't allowed any more.
This sounds like a lovely little aquarium with a good array of species to add to my photography life-list. The horseshoe crab sounds especially appealing as I've never seen one before
@Prochilodus246 All I would say is the horseshoe crab isn't always visible, it likes to hide underneath the thick seaweed in its tank, so most of the time it's a no-show.
