New wading bird beach at the former location of the beaver exhibit in the European aviary, 2021-10-10

Providing a living and foraging space for the ibis, avocets, redshanks and ducks that were also added later, in the fall. The European aviary now houses Waldrapp, Pied avocet, Common redshank, Eurasian wigeon, Northern shoveler, European turtle dove and Rock partridge.
@Mr Gharial Yes, this wading bird beach and the new species have really improved the European aviary and the European area as a whole, at least for a while until they really redo this area.
