South American Pampas

Right side. Former elephant exhibit. Greater Rhea and Giant Anteater. Nov 2021
This appears to be an old grotto that has been converted quite nicely into a modern South American pampas.

It was indeed; the elephants were shipped off a little under a decade ago. I forgot to add that in the description of these photos, but I edited them just now.

Having surveyed it from different angles, it's not the entirety of the old habitat though: where the wooden slat fencing and upper brick wall are is an old sloped path leading up to another small open area next to the holding building. Presumably this was how the elephants went up into the barn, but the area in back appears to now just be a service area or side enclosure.
