Maharajah Jungle Trek - Blackbuck

Their horns look like that because they are castrated. You end up with a lot horn abnormalities when you castrate early, especially in species in which only the males have horns— like blackbuck. Blackbuck will breed like rabbits if you let them, and they are not a managed species, so it’s no surprise that they have so many castrated males.
 
@Cat-Man That is correct, yes. Although intact males that are younger and/or lower ranking males in the herd will also maintain that lighter coloration as well.
